Autism Assessment and Diagnostic Service

The Office for Autism has released a tender to engage at least one provider to provide autism assessment and diagnostic services for children and young people.

Students in Northern Adelaide who are at risk of being disengaged from education, from low socio-economic backgrounds and who are currently awaiting assessment through the public system will be prioritised under the service.

The tender is a collaboration between the Office for Autism and the Department for Education in response to feedback on autism assessment and diagnosis from South Australia’s Autism Inclusion Teachers and the broader Autistic and autism communities.

Selected service provider

Following an open tender process, Solasta, a social enterprise by Sonder, has been selected to deliver this service.
